设备端处理
- 照片与相机：待识别图片通过 Apple Vision 在设备端处理，不会因普通识字操作上传给开发者。
- 语音：仅在您主动使用语音识字时访问麦克风，并要求设备端语音识别；应用不保存录音。
- 评分记录（汉字、时间、评分和笔迹）及生词本：保存在本机，并同步至您个人的 iCloud 私有数据库；删除也会同步。设置保存在本机。
购买与免费试用
应用提供首次安装后的 24 小时本机体验，并在本机钥匙串及偏好设置中保存开始时间，用于判断体验是否到期；该时间不会由应用上传给开发者。此体验不会自动订阅或扣费。订阅、符合条件用户的 3 天订阅免费试用、续订和付款由 Apple StoreKit 与您的 Apple 账户管理，以购买确认页为准。应用不会取得完整付款资料。
主动提交的反馈
只有在您主动提交纠错、支持或隐私请求时，填写的文字、当前词典条目、应用版本和您主动选择的截图才会保存到应用的 Apple CloudKit 数据库，用于支持、核实问题和改进词典。请勿提交姓名、联系方式、账号或其他敏感信息。
保留与删除
反馈原则上在提交后不超过 24 个月删除，法律要求保留的除外。您可以在应用内提交隐私或删除请求，并提供提交时显示的反馈编号。关闭系统权限不会影响手动浏览功能。
共享、广告与跟踪
应用不包含第三方广告、分析或跟踪 SDK，不出售用户数据。Apple 依据其政策处理 StoreKit 和 CloudKit 服务所需的数据。

学习记录的同步与删除
生词本和评分笔迹使用您的私人 iCloud 数据库，与主动提交给开发者的反馈分开存储。未登录或无法同步时，记录保留在本机；联网后可再次同步。可在“学习记录”中移除收藏或删除评分记录。删除标记及同步所需标识可能继续保留，以防其他设备恢复已删除记录；离线设备需完成同步后才反映删除。卸载应用不等于删除 iCloud 中的数据。
个人学习单
主动保存学习单时，名称、核对后的识别原文、所选汉字和创建时间保存在本机，不随学习记录上传到 iCloud，也不保存原始照片。练习进度从学习单创建后的评分记录计算。可在“学习记录 → 学习单”中删除学习单；删除学习单不会删除独立保存的评分记录或收藏。

Overview
Hanzi Scan is provided by Chengdu Chengnan Fuyuan Technology Co., Ltd. This policy explains what the app processes and the choices available to you. The app is for a general audience and is not listed in the App Store Kids Category.
On-device processing
- Photos and camera: images used for recognition are processed on device with Apple Vision and are not uploaded to the developer during ordinary recognition.
- Voice: microphone access occurs only when you start voice lookup. On-device speech recognition is required, and recordings are not retained.
- Scored practice records (character, time, score and handwriting) and bookmarks are saved locally and synced to your private iCloud database. Deletions also sync. Settings remain local.
Purchases and trial
The app offers a 24-hour on-device introductory period after first installation. Its start time is stored in the local Keychain and preferences to determine when access expires; the app does not upload this time to the developer. This period does not automatically start a subscription or charge you. Subscriptions, the 3-day subscription trial for eligible users, renewals, and payments are managed by Apple StoreKit and your Apple Account, subject to the purchase confirmation screen. The app does not receive full payment details.
Feedback you submit
Only when you submit a correction, support, or privacy request are your text, the current dictionary entry, app version, and any screenshot you choose stored in the app's Apple CloudKit database. They are used to provide support, verify reports, and improve the dictionary. Do not include names, contact details, account information, or other sensitive information.
Retention and deletion
Feedback is normally deleted no later than 24 months after submission unless retention is legally required. You may submit a privacy or deletion request in the app and provide the feedback reference shown after submission. Disabling system permissions does not prevent manual browsing.
Sharing, advertising, and tracking
The app contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs and does not sell user data. Apple processes data needed for StoreKit and CloudKit under its own policies.

Read aloud and translation
Tapping a character or word starts playback. Characters use bundled human Mandarin recordings when available; other readings use device speech synthesis. Playback does not need microphone permission and does not upload spoken text to the developer. Voice and speed preferences remain on device; the default speed is 0.8×. When you choose Translate, the selected text is handled by Apple’s system translation feature, subject to Apple’s service rules and your device settings.
Learning record sync and deletion
Bookmarks and scored handwriting use your private iCloud database, separately from feedback submitted to the developer. When signed out or unable to sync, records remain on device and can sync again when connectivity is available. Remove bookmarks or delete practice records in Learning Library. Deletion markers and identifiers needed for sync may remain to prevent other devices from restoring deleted records; offline devices reflect deletions after syncing. Uninstalling the app does not delete its iCloud data.
Personal learning sheets
When you save a learning sheet, its name, corrected source text, selected characters, and creation time are stored on this device. Sheets are not uploaded to iCloud with learning records, and the original photo is not retained. Progress is calculated from scored practice after the sheet was created. Delete sheets in Learning Library → Learning sheets; deleting a sheet does not delete separately saved practice records or bookmarks.
